Kamala Harris campaigns with Scott Colom at a midterm rally in Mississippi

What the coverage shows

Politico and PBS NewsHour both frame the story around Scott Colom and Mississippi politics, but Politico focuses on the Senate race and Raphael Warnock’s involvement, while PBS NewsHour centers Kamala Harris appearing with Colom. Politico alone adds the angle that Warnock is testing a “new kind of Southern strategy” for the Democratic Party.
