Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries skip national anthem for third straight WNBA Finals game
Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries skipped the national anthem for a third straight WNBA Finals game despite the league's own rulebook mandate.
What the coverage shows
Fox News is the only outlet to foreground the anthem omission, saying the Dream and Valkyries skipped it for a third straight Finals game and adding the league rulebook detail. ABC News does not mention the anthem at all, instead framing the item as a Game 3 preview in Atlanta and focusing on the Dream’s chance to take the series lead.
