LEAKED AUDIO: Ken Paxton Says Trump DRAGGING Him Down
Ryan and Saagar discuss Ken Paxton in leaked audio claiming Trump's midterm convention is dragging the GOP down ahead of the midterms.
Breaking Points
What the coverage shows
Both outlets center on leaked audio involving Ken Paxton and Trump, but they frame the emphasis differently. CBS News links the audio to Trump’s Texas stop and broader campaign push, while Breaking Points foregrounds the “leaked audio” itself and says, in its own extract, that Paxton was described as claiming Trump is dragging the GOP down. CBS also separately adds a later item about Trump promoting tariffs and trying to shore up support for Paxton in Texas.
