Co-pilot in FlyDubai attack identified as Omani national Hamam al-Hammami – reports

What the coverage shows

Both outlets focus on the reported identification of the co-pilot as Hamam al-Hammami and on his Omani nationality. Newsweek gives only the name and nationality, while The Independent adds the extra detail, attributed to CNN, that he was born in the UAE to an Omani father and Syrian mother.
