More details emerge about FlyDubai co-pilot who tried to crash plane
Questions continue to swirl about the FlyDubai co-pilot who allegedly attacked the captain and tried to crash a packed flight from Dubai to Israel.
What the coverage shows
CBS News and CNN both center on the claim that the FlyDubai co-pilot was previously dismissed from Oman Air over extremist views, and both attribute that account to sources. CBS News also foregrounds the alleged violent attempt to crash a passenger aircraft, while CNN frames the person as a pilot suspected of attacking another pilot aboard a Tel Aviv-bound flight.
