Microsoft makes Windows settings backup the default in 26H2

What the coverage shows

Both outlets cover Microsoft’s Windows settings backup becoming the default in 26H2. BleepingComputer is the only one to spell out that the change applies by default to Microsoft Entra-joined or Entra hybrid-joined enterprise systems upgraded to Windows 11 26H2, while The Register frames it more tersely and highlights the routine-sounding update process.
