Aces' fans spew unfounded claims that Fever fans are 'racist' while defending A'ja Wilson
Las Vegas Aces fans accused Indiana Fever supporters of racism and slurs at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, but their claims crumbled under scrutiny.
What the coverage shows
Both outlets center A'ja Wilson and a fan incident tied to the Aces-Fever game, but they frame it differently. The Associated Press keeps the focus on Wilson reflecting on the encounter and advancing with the Aces, while Fox News is the only outlet here to foreground the dispute over fan conduct and to report that accusations against Fever fans were challenged.
