WATCH: GOP Sen FACEPLANTS In WILD Jack Smith Testimony

What the coverage shows

Both outlets focus on a Republican senator’s sports-team mix-up during Jack Smith testimony, but CBS News states the specific error in its extract, saying Eric Schmitt confused the Iowa Hawkeyes with the Atlanta Hawks. Breaking Points uses a more sensational framing and gives no comparable detail in the extract, only referring to the testimony as “wild” and discussing it on air.
